Installation

Version 1.2.4 · MIT · no account

  • Windows

    Installer, 64-bit. Not code-signed, so Windows shows “Windows protected your PC” the first time: choose More info → Run anyway.

  • Linux

    AppImage, 64-bit. Nothing to install: make it executable and run it.

  • macOS

    Disk image, Apple Silicon and Intel. Not signed, so after dragging it to Applications, run this once:

    xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Cernix.app

Building it yourself

Every platform builds from the same tree. You need Node 20.19 or newer and below 25; the repository’s README carries the rest.

Google Drive sync needs your own OAuth client id; everything else works without one. Cernix is on GitHub under the MIT licence.
