Cernix is a program on your computer, not a service you join. Ingesting, culling and editing all work with the internet switched off, and the only thing it ever reaches for is the Drive you point it at.
Ingest
Put the card in. That's the setup.
Cernix sees the card within two seconds and copies everything onto your computer, filed by the day you shot it.
Anything it has already taken is skipped, and nothing on the card is ever changed or deleted.
Cull
Every frame gets a verdict
Two thousand frames off the card, a few dozen worth sending. Cernix is built for the hour in between.
All of it without the mouse. Rate it, keep it or bin it with a single key, and the next frame is one arrow away.
Edit
Finish the job here.
Exposure and colour, curves, crop, healing, masks, HSL, calibration. Your original file is never written to, so changing your mind in a year costs nothing.
Sync
Your work, on Google Drive
Your photographs land in your own Google Drive, filed by the day you shot them, with your edits alongside. Uploads keep going in the background and pick up where they stopped, and nothing is ever sent twice. Hand a client a whole folder as a link or a QR code.

Code signing is a yearly fee this project does not pay, so Windows will warn you the first time. Choose More info → Run anyway. If you would rather not take that on trust, every release publishes a sha256. Check the download against it.
